Schwing America, headquartered in White Bear, MN is now responsible for sales and marketing to Central and South America along with its traditional market of North America. The expanded territory excludes Brazil where the Schwing Group has a manufacturing facility. “Schwing products are well received in Latin America thanks to the quality and service provided by our manufacturing plants in the U.S., Germany and Brazil,” stated Tom O’Malley, Schwing vice-president sales and marketing.
The new expanded territory will provide immediate long-term revenue opportunities as parts will now be provided from the company’s White Bear location. The company has added Spanish speaking support for their Call Center to better serve the new markets. Schwing is launching a Spanish language website later this year which will be accessible through www.schwing.com with products tailored to the Latin American construction and ready-mix customers. “We are looking forward to improving market share in this new territory which will supplement our sales in the U.S., Canada and Mexico,” O’Malley added.
