Schwing Generates Exposure For Green Initiative At WOC

Schwing’s display attracted more than 25 members of the media at a press conference prior to the 2009 World of Concrete. The company’s “Green” initiative of Less Fuel, Less Water, Less time was graphically illustrated on the custom paint scheme of green and white pumps in the booth and by the green theatre lights that illuminated their concrete pumps and truck mixers.

“Our green logo ties beautifully into our theme of Go Green with Schwing,” explained Director of Marketing Tom O’Malley who conducted the press conference. O’Malley explained in detail how Schwing pumps save their customers fuel through the efficiency of their open loop hydraulic system, use less water because of the design of the Rock Valve™ and save time through faster clean-up and set-up thanks to features like the exclusive Super X outriggers.

In addition to the green features of the company’s products, O’Malley pointed out the Virtual Call Center located on the second level of the booth that provided attendees with a real time demonstration. Long term Schwing employees Tony Haider and Tom McAuley showed off the company’s investment in parts and service with a unique ability to track issues using digital customer files of Schwing pumps.
