Schwing has added a new stationary model to their extensive line of versatile concrete pumps. The SP 2800 offers 130 cubic yard per hour output powered by a Tier III & COM III197 hp Deutz diesel engine. The open loop hydraulic system applies up to 1465 psi on the concrete to achieve pumping distances to satisfy most job requirements. Contractors will use the new 2800 to pump structural concrete on medium rise structures, mezzanines and other projects requiring volume over long distances.
Key to the success and popularity of all Schwing concrete pumps is the Rock Valve which pumps the harshest mixes with the lowest cost per yard in wear parts and maintenance. The Rock Valve is also a sound environmental choice using less water for clean-up than other valve types.
The SP 2800 has the advantage of being all-hydraulic to eliminate troublesome electronic controls that can fail in the harsh concrete environment. The single circuit system provides reliability with its open loop design that routes oil back to the tank during short idle periods for cooler running. A hydraulically driven agitator operates off a separate circuit for smooth, even feeding of the mix.
Operator convenience features include a hand-held remote with 100-feet of cable. A wireless radio remote is optional. Central greasing extends the life of valuable components by providing fast, easy access. A control panel monitors all important functions including rpm and pressure with switches for on/off, forward/reverse and agitator on/off. A fiberglass enclosure ensures attractive appearance for the life of the pump.
