An optional transducer is located in
the transition between the pump and screw feeder.
This device will control the sludge pressure in
the transition. A signal from the pressure transducer
will control the output of the hydraulic pump,
and thus the screw feeder RPM insuring the pressure
in the transition will be maintained at the preset
point. This control will optimize the pump’s
filling efficiency regardless of pump speed or
sludge solids content.
