The Sliding Frame Silo is a simple
machine consisting of either one or two hydraulic
cylinders driving a frame that reciprocates across
the silo floor. The cylinder action pushes and
pulls the material towards the silo center; the
material then falls into a metering screw conveyor
for discharge. The conveyor is kept full by the
action of the Sliding Frame thereby allowing accurate
material metering. The conveyor can then discharge
directly onto a conveyor or a twin screw feeder
to a pump.

Features & Benefits
|
|
Uniform drawdown of material, which allows for
full utilization of available space.
Vertical walls of silo and frame action
eliminate possibility of arching/bridging.
|
|
|
|
Flat bottom of silo reduces minimum height
clearance required, while maximizing storage volume.
Allows for accurate metering of cake output.
